Lori Renko is the chef and owner
of Eureka Sweets. Her clients began affectionately
calling her "the cake lady" several years ago. When
the moniker seemed to stick, she adopted it with
gratitude to those clients.

Background
Prior to moving to
beautiful
Eureka Springs, AR, Lori lived in Fayetteville, AR, where she
earned her degree from the University of Arkansas. After
graduating college, she honed her cooking skills as the
Executive Pastry Chef under Chef Miles James at the
award-winning
James at the Mill in Johnson, AR. She
attended the International School of Confectionary Arts
in
Gaithersburg, MD. where she received further training in
wedding cake design and studied numerous times under the
cake diva herself,
Colette Peters. Lori moved to
Eureka Springs and began specializing in wedding cakes and
custom catering through a local bakery in 2001.
Lori recently
announced her move into a new private commercial kitchen.
She has developed a state of the art, health-code approved
kitchen specifically to function as a cake decorating and
confectionary workshop. Baking and catering options
are available to both private and wholesale clients.
Her fresh baked goods can be delivered or pickup-service is
available at Little Bread Company in Eureka Springs and
Arsaga's Coffee Shop in Fayetteville.
